How to fill last-minute cancellations
A cancellation the night before leaves a gap you probably can't afford, and calling down a list to fill it takes time your team doesn't have. Yet somewhere on your customer list there's almost always someone who'd happily take that slot: a regular who's due for a visit, or someone who said they wanted to come in sooner. The problem isn't demand, it's reaching the right people fast enough.
The fix is to make openings easy to announce and easy to grab. Keep a group of customers who are due soon or who've asked to be told about openings. When a slot frees up, send them a short message, something like "We just had an opening tomorrow at 2 PM. Want it?", with a link to book. Text works best here because it's read quickly. Whoever books first gets the spot, and the booking page should hide the slot as soon as it's taken so nobody gets double-booked.
WentBack makes that a one-minute job. Send a quick update to any group of customers by text, WhatsApp or email, with your booking link included. Customers pick an open time, booked spots disappear instantly, and every booking can be exported to the calendar you already use. Making it easy for customers to reschedule from their reminders also means you hear about cancellations earlier, when they're much easier to fill.
